Tutorial 03

Hello today im going to be talking about the unity tutorial I did for this week.

I continued doing the tutorial form last weeks lab after jo0t figuring out how to launch the apk on my phone I used unity to explore the world as best I could. This week however it was less based on the world in unity and more information on xr itself. There was a lot of info on mr which blends reality with the real world an app example that was given was Pokémon go. I think its useful to know about the dangers it gave so that developers can try and avoid them. I also think it’s useful to know what the compotes of how your phone determines in what area you are etc. There was another part of the tutorial that I couldn’t do with placing the Vuforia just wouldn’t work I would have like to see what it could do but it seems to be very similar to the snapchat but it appears on a piece of paper. I’m enjoying the unity tutorials but I wish that more parts would actually work this is my fault however because I do not have access to a better smartphone

Introduction too me

Unity Logo (https://unity.com/logo-unity-web.png) Hello welcome too my blog this is a short introduction to me and what I am excited for in this module also since this module is about video games probably some of that. Well firstly I always wanted to create a video game it's always been a dream of mine but seemed very complex it's actually one of the main reasons im in the course so now that we are making one as an entire module gets me excited for the semester. I'm Not exactly sure what kind of game I would like to create it would have to have a good story since thats what I look for in a lot of video games its either for it to tell a story or being able to create one in the game. Recently I have been playing a lot of crusader king 2 which is a medieval grand strategy game however I don't know if I would call it that as there is a lot of luck involved since some wacky and unexpected things might happen for example slipping and dying with no heir too your dynasty causin

PROTOTYPE

I start of by watching several tutorials on player movement just so I refresh my memory on the topic. I wanted to make movement WASD and make the camera third or first person. I began to make this happen the movement didn’t take me a while to make but I was reminded of the game Grim Fandango and then I thought of making player movement based on clicking. I watched several tutorials on how to achieve this. The click movement gain did not take a while to make. I can see in the future pathing of the player being an issue.
